Meget stor vin … med storslået kropslighed
”Sidst jeg smagte Neumayer, var det 2020, og her står 2022 med storslået kropslighed. …duften minder om en kombination af stor Chardonnay-champagne uden bobler og gul pæresaft med dråber af grape i. Viskositeten er som silke, diskret pirrende af bærmekontakt og måske en tone med få timers skindkontakt. Tydelig sur fløde, diskret oxidative indslag, friskost og labneh i eftersmagen, som stammer fra udtalt bærmekontakt. Meget stor vin.”

Philosophy
My wines stand for clarity, strength, and longevity. They should bring you joy. My craft is playing with nature. Nature provides the framework. I add my personal handwriting. Great white wines are characterized by the finest elegance, yet vibrant with strength and intensity. This balance is my benchmark as a winemaker. Limestone soil typically produces very light and crystal-clear wines with a lively acidity. Their fine balance makes them memorable. Due to the harsh conditions on meager stone soils, my wines are very late developing. They often only find their first equilibrium in late spring. As a result, however, they develop the highest longevity, which is rarely found in white wines.
